Hooray my first award. I am so excited. Thank you Flying T Ranch for nominating my blog for the Versatile Blogger Award.
For those of you who have not checked out the Flying T Ranch as of yet, please do so. They have so many great photos and tales to tell from their ranch and really truly, when I read their posts and look at their amazing photos I think of everything we want our life to be when we finally make the move out of the suburbs and into the country.
This award was started a bit ago by folks in the blogosphere as a fun way to recognize fellow bloggers and introduce our readers to new and interesting blogs.
Here are the RULES for the Versatile Blogger Award (as you will see, posting the rules, is in fact one of the rules).
1. Add the award to your blog.
2. Thank the blogger who gave it to you.
3. Mention seven random things about yourself. (see below)
4. List the rules.
5. Award to 15 bloggers.
6. Inform each of those 15 by leaving a comment on their blog.
As for seven random things, well, let’s be honest there are way more than seven, but I will give it a whirl:
1. I am addicted to technology, including TV. Interesting for someone who holds up Laura Ingalls-Wilder as a roll model.
2. I have an aversion to pooh. Also interesting for someone who has a life goal of having a farm, with animals who pooh.
3. I worked at an actual working dude ranch that kind of resembled the Dirty Dancing place.
4. I love to dance.
5. I consider myself an artist, but if it isn’t paint by number, I cannot paint it.
6. I am a nerd. One Star Trek convention, Star-Wars Fan Club, Fantasy Game meeting short of being Dr. Sheldon Cooper
7. I hated baking until I was diagnosed with Gluten Intolerance. Now, I live for it.
